ABOUT FISH ATLANTA GUIDE SERVICE
Fish Atlanta Guide Service is a full time service that operates on the smaller lakes in Georgia. In recent years counties surrounding the Metro Atlanta area began making smaller reservoirs to meet the demands of water during the drought. These lakes along with some that already existed create a very unique bass fishery that provide some of the best trophy bass fishing in the Southeast. Most of these lakes were stocked with Florida Bass or F-1 Hybrid bass. Under the right conditions these bast have a faster growth rate which gives them more potential to grow to trophy size. The right conditions is what many of these lakes offer with many fish being caught in the 8 to 10lb range. Even fish over 10lbs and into the Teens are not uncommon on some of these lakes.
SO WHY CHOOSE A TRIP WITH FISH ATLANTA GUIDE SERVICE?
You will be fishing out of a 16ft Electric powered Bass Tracker that has been custom built for these lakes. Sixteen foot is the maximum size limit allowed on most of these lakes and most only allow electric motors.
You will be fishing with experienced Guide and Tournament Angler Randall Kirkpatrick who has been fishing many of these lakes for as long as they have been open to fishing.
For those wanting to learn new techniques or prefer certain types of fishing, our lakes offer a variety of cover and structure with everything from hydrilla to deep ledges.
The lakes we fish have no heavy boat traffic, water skiers, jet skiers etc. just excellent fishing for big bass
Prices will be about half of what many guides charge. How can we offer this? Many guides have the extra expenses of a large boat, tow vehicle and fuel. We don't have these expenses and pass these savings onto our clients.
THINGS TO BRING?
-All trips are rain or shine. Be sure to bring appropriate clothing.
-Be sure to bring food, drinks snacks in a small cooler
-Life vests
-Feel free to bring any rods/reels and tackle you might have. I have found it helpful to my clients for me to critique and offer suggestions on their equipment based on my experiences. I do have extra rods/reels and tackle available for you to use, but I feel you will be more comfortable using equipment that you are already familiar with.
